Event: Digby County Exhibition
Fri, Aug 26, 2016 to Mon, Aug 29, 2016
Since 1879 the Digby County Exhibition has been providing the community with a link to their agricultural heritage. One of the oldest in the province, but also one of the smallest, we focus on a family friendly and affordable four-day showcase of agricultural pride.
Our daily schedule includes Ox Hauls, Heavy Horse Pulls, Light Horse competitions, 4H displays, Musical entertainment, community vendors, and dining hall. We also showcase a number of non-livestock local talent including flower arrangements, fruit and vegetable gardens, quilts and handicrafts, photography, paintings, baking, wood carvings and more. Come see what Digby County has to offer!
We encourage all of our visitors to spend the day with us! Have something to eat, watch an event, tour the barns and talk with the teamsters, meet the animals and get in touch with your agricultural roots! Gates open 9am daily. Parking available. Located in beautiful Bear River, we hope to see you there!
