Energized by social action, infused by Spirit, and motivated by a passion for the Earth, Festimagouche! is a celebration of emerging voices for social and spiritual renewal. This dynamic and engaging social justice festival offers workshops in four areas - arts, justice, earth, and spirit. Through creative activities for young and old, participants will engage and hear voices that speak for justice, peace, and the environment. This year the event has added a conversation stream, with moderated conversations on a variety of topics.
At the event's outdoor stage you will enjoy great music, keynote speakers, and storytellers. This year renowned Scottish activist and author Alistair McIntosh will deliver the keynote address, and the main stage concert will feature award-winning singer songwriter Dave Gunning , and soulful singer songwriter Coco Love Alcorn . The festival concludes with a “Spirits Rising” inter-faith, inter-cultural gathering, and has a full program for children.
Festimagouche! is a gathering place for all who care deeply about creating a more just world. It is a place to build creative friendships, collaborative partnerships, and re-imagine the common narrative. Relax in the shade of the linden tree, camp by the French River, hike the sunny trail by Tatamagouche Bay - take a deep breath and enjoy the Festimagouche grounds! Surrounded by the beauty of this place, you’ll have the opportunity to talk, sing, and connect with folks from diverse backgrounds who share deep concern for the integrity of all creation. Get connected! The festival is family-friendly celebration, inclusive, and accepting of all. Camping or accommodations available.
