Daily cooking classes in the main lodge kitchen are held 5 days a week starting at 2:30 p.m. and lasting for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Wild foods walks (Foraging through the Forest) also take place on a regular basis. Please contact us for dates & times.
The cost is $35/person per hour. These classes are open to the public.
• Mondays: Appetizers
• Tuesdays: Breads
• Wednesdays: Fresh pasta
• Thursdays: Desserts
• Fridays: Acadian cuisine
Classes and forays are taught by professional Trout Point Lodge kitchen staff, with lessons planed by the chef/proprietors. Cooking classes take place in the newly-equipped GE Monogram kitchen, with the same appliances used in the Top Chef Canada Food Network series.
