Hi, my name is Clyde Fisher. I have lived in Port Mouton Bay all my life. After retiring from fishing, I really enjoy showing people around my favourite places in the Bay. Port Mouton Island is one of those places! Step aboard my skiff (small, flat-bottomed boat) for a tour of this uninhabited island. Take a walk on the beautiful white sand beach and maybe have a swim or hunt for shells, while enjoying the quiet and peacefulness.

On our trip to the island, we will pass by the white sand beaches and sand dunes of neighbouring islands. We'll also motor close to Massacre Island, where the Great Cormorant likes to nest. (Yes, do ask me how the island got its name!). The Great Cormorant is one of many species of birds and ducks found in the area. I'll also take you to some great spots in the Bay where the shallow waters will reveal fish, lobsters, crabs and other sea creatures. Seals like to sun bath in many places in the Bay, so we might spot them too. If you have kids, seeing animals where they live will bring huge smiles to their faces!

Tours typically last about 2 hours, depending on what catches your interests.

Price: $100 for up to four people

Every trip is an adventure. So, when are you coming?

Conditions: Tour price is $100 for up to 4 people. If you'd like to spend more time on the island, the charge is $50 for each additional hour. My small boat (skiff) can hold up to 4 people, plus myself. Children 6 years or older are welcome. Life jackets are supplied for everyone in the boat. Be prepared for some salt spray and a splash or two. Tours must be booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance to avoid disappointment.
