Hi, my name is Clyde Fisher. I have lived in Port Mouton Bay all my life. After retiring from fishing, I really enjoy showing people around Port Mouton Bay, which is renowned for its white sand beaches, dunes, and picturesque islands. Step aboard my skiff (small, flat-bottomed boat) for a tour of Spectacle Island and to see its lighthouse. Originally built in 1873, the lighthouse is still operational. With my small boat, we'll be able to motor around the island and access the shallow waters, so you can see the plants, birds, fish, lobster, mussels, and underwater vegetation, like eel grass. At low tide, we can even see one of the shipwrecks near the island. We might also see seals sunbathing or even porpoises in the Bay. If you like, we can stop at one of the Bay’s many beautiful beaches, for a stroll or a swim.

Want to know more about the life of a lobster or crab? Just ask, I'm happy to share what I know about our many sea creatures.

Tours typically last about 2 hours, depending on what catches your interests.

Price: $100 for up to four people

Every trip is an adventure. So, when are you coming?

Conditions: Tour price is $100 for up to 4 people. If you'd like to spend more time on the island, the charge is $50 for each additional hour. My small boat (skiff) can hold up to 4 people, plus myself. Children 6 years or older are welcome. Life jackets are supplied for everyone in the boat. Be prepared for some salt spray and a splash or two. Tours must be booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance to avoid disappointment.
