Description:

Realize your cruising potential during this five-day sailing experience!

Whether you’re new to sailing or looking to increase your skills, Sou’wester Adventures has the sailing experience for you.

Beginner sailors will combine classroom instruction with on water training in an interactive, personal setting that will have them sailing the waters around Oak Island with confidence in just 5 days. This program takes place at Atlantica Oak Island Resort, which offers a variety of accommodations, as well as a reduced rate for sailing school participants.

Experienced sailors looking to increase their skills and expand their horizons, will enjoy the provisioned, live-aboard Bareboat or Coastal Skipper programs, while cruising to the secluded anchorages and historic seaports of Nova Scotia’s Atlantic Coast.

Programs

• Basic Skipper - $650.00 per person
• Bareboat Skipper - $1050.00 per person
• Coastal Skipper - $1350.00 per person

Our sailing programs are offered annually during June through September and are led by Sail Canada certified instructors. Participants will receive internationally-recognized Sail Canada certification upon course completion. Sou’wester Adventures Sailing School has been providing sailing courses for 15 years, with hundreds of successful students now sailing with confidence worldwide. We hope to sail with you this season!
