Gabh Pàirt `nar Stòiridh | Put Yourself in our Story – Living History Program for Adults or Families

Put yourself in our story. This two-hour program will allow individuals or whole families to create meaningful memories as they take part in our living history program. Participants will dress in period costume and experience first hand what life was like for our Gaelic ancestors. You’ll have a chance to join in with cooking and baking, spinning and weaving, natural dye bath making, traditional woodworking or blacksmithing.

Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. $25.00 per adult, $15.00 per student. From June – August.

Làithean Sona | Happy Days Childrens Living History Program

Join us for a living history program for children to get a sense of what life was like for Gaels in days past. Children will get a chance to take part in crafts like, rug hooking or pottery, along with games, chores, as well as, learning some Gaelic language and song. Costumes will be provided and lunch is included. Ages 8-12 only. Available every Wednesdays for July & August, 10 am to 4 pm. $45 per child. Prepaid reservations required.

Na Deugairean | The Teenagers Living History Program for Youth

Partake in this living history program for teens and get a sense of the responsibilities and the lifestyles of young Gaels. Their day will include cooking, sewing, farming, and woodworking, along with learning some Gaelic phrases and song. Costumes will be provided and lunch is included. Ages 13-17. Every Thursday in July & August, 10 am to 4 pm. $45 per child. Prepaid reservations required.
