Step back in time to enjoy Lunenburg's cherished Ashlea House, a registered historic house restored to its original grandeur. Located on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, Ashlea House Bed And Breakfast is perfectly situated, a short five-minute stroll along the historic harbour into the core of Old Lunenburg. Enjoy your day visiting the nearby Fisheries Museum, the historic Bluenose II, shops and galleries, and then retire to the only Lunenburg Inn to boast so many common areas.

A registered Heritage Property (c. 1886), Ashlea House Bed and Breakfast has two first floor parlours, a Victorian gazebo and outside sitting areas in "Martha's Garden”, an authentic Widow's Walk with a panoramic harbor view, a third-floor lounge and an outside deck. We invite you to enjoy Ashlea House as family.

Our accommodations include four air-conditioned rooms (Queen-sized bed or Twin beds), ensuite 4-piece baths (one 3-piece with a shower); family suite with connecting bedrooms; television and DVD player in all rooms. Full country-style breakfast is served communally at 8:30 a.m. A library of movies, wireless Internet and guest computer greet you in the guest lounge. Visa, MasterCard and Direct Debit are accepted.

Cancellation Policy: Must cancel 48 hours prior to day of arrival and for early departure (to avoid a card charge).
