Joined to the mainland by a short causeway, Graves Island Provincial Park is typical of the many small islands found along Nova Scotia's Atlantic coast. The park offers a coastal walking trail overlooking the picturesque Mahone Bay as well as a spacious picnic area. This quiet ocean-side campground has long been a popular vacation spot for Nova Scotians and visitors alike. The park is an excellent location for outdoor adventures including sea kayaking and biking along the South Shore, as well as day tripping to the area's many attractions.

Nearby: Town of Lunenburg (UNESCO World Heritage Site) as well as home to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. Visit the Ross Farm Museum (New Ross), DesBrisay Museum (Bridgewater), as well as Hubbards Provincial Park, Queensland Beach Provincial Park and Cleveland Beach Provincial Park.

Campground accommodations include: 93 open and wooded overnight sites (32 W/E serviced, 61 un-serviced). Walk-in sites available.

Park amenities include: flush toilets, showers, disposal station, fire grills, boat launch, trailhead building, dishwashing station,wood, and ice. Wireless Internet access available at the administration building and surrounding area only. This is a Campground Host park. Leashed pets permitted.
