Brier Island Lodge offers oceanfront accommodations and restaurant with a magnificent view, along with whale watching boat tours located in Westport on Brier Island, which is part of the Fundy Shore and Annapolis Valley region. We are situated on a bluff, 130 feet above sea level overlooking Grand Passage, Peter’s Island, St Mary’s Bay and the Village of Westport.
Enjoy the spectacular panoramic waterfront view from our dining room as you taste the regional dishes of Brier Island. Brier Island is Nova Scotia’s eco-tourism destination and is situated where the world famous Bay of Fundy begins. Enjoy world class whale watching, evening island cruises, nature trails, seal colony, beautiful sand and cobble-stone beaches, wildflowers and a petting farm.
Our accommodations include 39 rooms (most with ocean/lighthouse view) with a 4-piece bath (4 with whirlpool tub/shower, 2 with sit-in shower) and cable television. Cribs available at no charge; cots are not available. Our dining room is open for breakfast and dinner during high season (June 21 – September 21). Boxed lunches to-go are available (notice required). During our low season, our dining room is open depending on demand. Packages are available.
We accept pets in select rooms; however, they must be supervised, kept on-leash, and under control at all times. If your pet does not get along with other animals or loves to chase little critters/birds, we ask that you not bring them for the safety and happiness of both our pets and yours.
We are a proud member of the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia and Canada Select (3 1/2 stars). All major credit cards are accepted.
