Bring home a piece of artwork from Gallery 215, a community-owned art gallery representing more than 50 emerging and established Nova Scotia artists. This showcase of original contemporary fine art for viewing, and for sale, is located in in the historic Selma Schoolhouse, or Selma Community Hall .
Our collection features art in a variety of media, including: paintings in oils, acrylic, and watercolour, mixed media, encaustic, and pastel; also photography, prints, turned wood, textiles, glass, pottery, and rug-hooking. Artwork for purchase is available in a range of sizes and prices, suitable for exhibit in your home, for souvenirs, or for gifts.
Artist talks and artists at work, art and cultural workshops, evening yoga classes and other resident- and visitor-appropriate experiences; consult the Events Calendar on our website to ensure you don’t miss any of the in-gallery art and cultural experiences we’ll be hosting. Proceeds from sales support the gallery, Dawson Dowell Park, and other initiatives of the Maitland District Development Association.
